Cone 06-4

Designed primarily for handbuilt sculpture or other work where a coarse body with minimal shrinkage is desired. Varied particle sizes pomote even dry-out and shrinkage rates.

• Coarse Red has all the great characteristics of our Coarse White body but is slightly more plastic. 
• Like Coarse White, it can easily be used on pieces over four feet tall. 
• A warm orange-brown color in cone 06 electric kiln firings.
• Brick-brown color at cone 4.
• Not recommended for reduction firing.
