 Amaco Textured Slab Molds


These four 12" x 12" plaster molds have a variety of designs that can be easily transferred to clay. Each mold design has excellent detail and they are as easy to use as:

  1. Roll clay
  2. Press clay slab onto mold
  3. Remove from mold and shape
  4. Fire

Continental Clay bodies recommended for use with slab molds:

  • Lo-Fire White or Red Earthenware
  • Mid-Fire White Stoneware
  • Hi-Fire White Stoneware
  • Buff Stoneware

The plate and vessel shown in the photo were created with the new Textured Slab Molds by Dan Gegen, Wichita, Kansas.
