Amaco Satin Matte Glaze (SM) Satin Matte (SM) Glaze Cone 5-6 This vibrant matte glaze line provides a smooth, satin surface for cone 5-6 stoneware and porcelain clay bodies. Ideal for providing a non-glossy colored sealant to sculptural and tile work, this glaze line can also be used on pottery as all colors are dinnerware safe. Satin Mattes break slightly over edges and texture and boast a soft satin feel. These glazes are formulated to be 100% mixable, allowing color values to be blended and mixed (with the exception of Orange and Red, which have a different base formulation). Use Clear Satin to lighten color tones, Satin Black to create shades, and Satin White to create tints.
