Our smooth Low-Fire Red terracotta body is ideal for all types of forming, especially wheel throwing.

  • Its smooth texture allows clean trimming on pottery or carving on relief designs.
  • Low sand content makes this body perfect for majolica glaze painting techniques. 
  • Fires to an orange-red color with low absorption at cone 04
  • Deep orange-red color at cone 01.
